Every week at Academy School we are lucky to attend an all school sing led by our vocal music teacher. Traditionally, the final one of the year is held outdoors in our courtyard and is called Rock-N-Roll all school sing. It is such a fun time!

We had a great trip to the Memorial Park yesterday! Although it wasn't a beautiful sunny day the rain held off long enough for us to have a chance to spend time playing on the playground and to eat our picnic lunches. The most exciting part of our day by far was a surprise visit from our set of twins who moved to Florida! They came back to Vermont to visit and found out we were at the park.We had a great time!

We had a fantastic time at the fourth annual County Fair Day! There were so many things to see and do that I was unable to take pictures of everyone! We are so proud of Mr. Paciulli for getting up in front of everyone and "Making the Impossible...Possible" by lying on a bed of nails. He told the students that there was a point in his life that he thought that going to college was impossible, but he worked hard and was able to go. Such a great lesson for the students!

We had a mom come to be our secret reader!! She read the book Because A Little Bug Said Ka Choo! by Rosetta Stone (Dr. Suess) . It is a cute story about "when a little bug sneezes, he unknowingly sets off a hilarious chain reaction that wreaks havoc clear across town"!!
Last week we had one of our Academy Star big sisters come in to be a secret reader to her brother. She read the book The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear by Don and Audrey Wood. Her brother was so surprised!! Nice job big sister!
